  If you're going to four-star a place - at least let everyone know why. What didn't you like and why? "Don't expect much from the cafe" "reminiscent of the 90s" ??? What? Because it doesn't employ Gordon Ramsay and doesn't serve up on golden platters with gongs playing? Sorry - the review - concentrate on the review. The Nursery - well stocked with plants from all over Australia and with regular specials and lots of advanced plants. Lots of soils, fertilisers and accessories for all kinds of gardeners at reasonable prices, often cheaper than Bunnings. Lots of baskets and trolleys so bring your trailer - you're going to buy more than you think. Water and umbrellas are available as this is a largely open air facility so you may be exposed to the elements. Helpful, informative staff always ready to help you pick out the right thing for your situation. Don't fall for "scratch" calls by the resident corella - He bites when displeased but is really a nice guy. If you need larger quantities of soil, there is a larger soil place next door. Lorikeet's Cafe: Yes, a simple al fresco cafe serving hot and cold meals and snacks in the usual line of steak, salad and chips, eggs Benedict, and sandwiches. A selection of cakes and slices are available with vegetarian and gluten free options available. Unpretentious, unassuming, local, friendly and obviously enjoyed by locals for breakfast and lunch groups. Under cover with ceiling fans but no air con. Food and staff are both pleasant and refreshing. Don't expect Cafe du Chanel but this is a lovely little corner to relax for a while.

  Not just a nursery! Stroll around the huge variety of plants and talk to one of the many staff members eager to give advice and information. Visit Lorikeets Coffee Shop set amongst the trees and ponds with the relaxing sound of waterfalls in the background. Explore further and you will find a very large aquarium that is interesting to all age groups. I can spend hours at this amazing place.
